LCM CAKE METHOD

The least common multiple (LCM) of two positive whole numbers is the smallest number that is divisible by these numbers. The least common multiple of a set of numbers can be found by using the upside-down cake method (or the ladder method).

LCM Cake Example

In this method, we apply the same algorithm as GCF. To calculate LCM, we multiply all prime numbers on the left and the leftovers on the right.

WHAT IS LCM CAKE (LADDER) METHOD CALCULATOR?

LCM cake (ladder) method calculator,

  • Draws the upside-down cake associated with the given numbers,
  • Graphically illustrates the result,
  • Computes the LCM and
  • Calculates the smallest three multiples of the entered numbers.

HOW TO USE LCM CAKE (LADDER) METHOD CALCULATOR?

You can use LCM cake (ladder) method calculator in two ways.

  • USER INPUTS

    Calculate button-two inputs

You can enter two positive whole numbers to the input boxes and click on the "CALCULATE" button. The result and explanations appaer below the calculator
