A positive octal number can be subtracted from another, following the steps below.
If the minuend and subtrahend have different number of digits, prepend zeros to the shorter one till the number of digits become equal.
Add the minuend to the 8's complement of the subtrahend.
If the result has an extra digit (end carry), discard it. The result is the remaining part of the sum.
If the result does not have an end carry, take the 8's complement of the sum.
Put a minus sign in front.
