INFORMATION

Cosine is a fundamental trigonometric function, complementing sine in many calculations. For a real angle between 0 and 90 degrees, the cosine of the angle is defined as the ratio of the length of the adjacent side to the hypotenuse in a right triangle.

The calculator above computes the cosine value of an angle given in degrees or radians. It also generates graphs that illustrate the cosine value of the angle. For angles within 0 to 90 degrees, it visualizes the cosine value on a right triangle; for angles ranging from -3000 to +3000 degrees, it depicts the cosine value on the coordinate system; and for any angle, it represents the cosine value on the unit circle.

INPUT FORMAT

Available input formats are listed below.

  • Integers (e.g., 3 or 27)
  • Decimal numbers (e.g., 27.5 or 0.05)
  • Fractions (e.g., 1/2 or 2.3/4)

WHAT IS COSINE CALCULATOR?

Cosine calculator,

  • Computes the cosine of an angle given in degrees or radians and
  • Depicts the angle and its cosine value on several different graphs.

HOW TO USE THE COSINE CALCULATOR?

Cosine calculator can be used in two ways.
